Too often we meet customers who are fixated on "How Much?"
To which we feel the only real response should also be "How Much?"
As inflation is kicking in hard we're too often misled into believing we need to get "The best price" when instead we should be looking for "The best Cost."
There is a big difference between price and cost...
Price is nothing more than what it costs RIGHT NOW! It means nothing more than the initial spend for your new roof, windows, doors, gutters, siding, etc.
Cost is the combined amount you will spend on the item(s) in question. Sure you may be able to buy a 20 year roof for less, but you'll end up replacing that roof 2 more times as compared to an Owens Corning roof. So even if you save now in the grander scheme of things it costs you more money.
This is why it becomes so important for your contractor to ask you questions like:
